Audit, Tax & Consulting Track
Staff - You work with clients in a variety of engagements. On the audit side, you may assist with cash, accounts payable, inventories and costing methods, accounts receivable, payrolls and fixed assets, report preparation, etc. and manage small review and compilation engagements. In tax, you may prepare individual returns and assist with corporate, partnership, and other organizations returns. In both audit and tax, you may have the opportunity to contribute to larger consulting engagements.
Senior - You supervise staff accountants and assume more in-charge responsibilities. In the audit and consulting areas, you direct the day-to-day execution of engagements. In tax, you research tax issues and begin to review returns.
Supervisor - As an experienced audit in-charge, you can plan and manage an audit or consulting engagement. Tax supervisors oversee research, handle reviews and assist in tax planning engagements. In both audit and tax, you discuss issues with client management, conduct research, actively participate in practice development activities, and supervise staff.
Manager - While managing and completing concurrent projects accurately and timely, you also develop referral sources and new clients. You evaluate the research of others and propose solutions to problems; identify risks and see that engagements are completed with defendable documentation; and objectively evaluate the skills and traits of supervisors, seniors and staff.
Principal - You own Tax Solutions International and have the ultimate responsibility for providing the best possible service to clients. You are responsible for the general administration of engagements and for developing solutions to problems affecting the firm, profession and clients. You are responsible for the retention of existing clients and the development of new ones
